When you stop smoking, the body begins a process of self repair that will very quickly impact every aspect of your wellbeing. Research has shown that stopping smoking doesn’t only drastically improve physical health, but also mental health, and greatly reduces stress over time, not to mention the money you save!
As part of the Integrated Neighbourhood project, we aim to help anyone who’s struggling with tobacco addiction to stop smoking in order to lead a healthier life.
We collected all the local resources available to the Wisbech population, where 1 in 4 people smokes. Please scroll down to see how we can help on your journey.

An SMS campaign was done inviting anyone who's registered as a smoker on their medical record to attend these clinics by replying to the text with "YES", if you didn't receive a text, you can call the surgery to book your appointment.

All stop smoking services provide advice, support and encouragement on how you can stop smoking for good.

They understand how difficult stopping smoking is, why is why they offer a programme of support for twelve weeks.
You will receive support from our own friendly stop smoking
specialist who will work with you to design your own personalised plan.
This will include advice on choosing a suitable stop smoking medication and information on how to manage cravings and withdrawal symptoms.

Stop smoking support is available for any smoker ages 12+ who lives in Cambridgeshire or is registered to a GP practice in Cambridgeshire
